 Job Summary

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating with overseas factories, managing production schedules, and leading the production team. Your role will involve creating, developing, and delivering high-quality collections while maintaining efficient production processes.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning and Management: Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordination with Design Team: Work closely with the design team to align production processes with design specifications.
  • New Product Development: Lead the development of new product ranges, assessing samples, colors, and techniques.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, coaching, and development for team members.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement procedures to maintain product quality standards.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Monitor production output, adjust schedules for optimal efficiency, and minimize waste.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, product testing, and company policies.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure smooth production and delivery processes.
  • Production Records Management: Maintain accurate production records and analyze reports for decision-making.

 Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in product management and development within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, G-Suite, and production software. Excellent communication skills.
  • You must be comfortable working onsite full-time, Monday to Friday as this is not a hybrid or remote role.

 Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage bespoke orders for high-end clients and act as a liaison between sales and design teams for custom projects.
  • Oversee the custom design approval process from concept to production.
  • Partner with various departments to manage production workflows and ensure timely deliveries for both stock and custom orders.
  • Track purchase orders and communicate with vendors, ensuring quality and resolving defects.
  • Support the head of production with stock management and KPI reports.

 Working Conditions

  • Primarily a sedentary environment (80%).
  • Frequent use of computers and electronic devices.
