Our client, a rapidly growing menswear brand, known for its unique fabrications and innovative designs, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Merchandiser. You can also be an Assistant or Senior Assistant Merchandiser looking for your next level.
This role offers a unique chance to support the Head Merchandiser in managing the product lifecycle across international, omni-channel operations.

About the Role:
Based in the vibrant Camden head office, the successful candidate will join a diverse and dynamic young team. As the first in-house Merchandising hire, this position provides significant opportunities for growth and development. Key responsibilities include:s of the Merchandising department.

  • Forecasting sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets.
  • Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborating closely with the Head Merchandiser on range planning for each channel.
  • Working with the Wholesale team on reporting and strategy.
  • Participating in trade meetings with senior management.
  • Assisting in managing the WSSI and supporting trade plans.
  • Reviewing and managing line monitors.
  • Proposing and implementing markdown and promotional activities.
  • Completing periodic lessons learnt reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience at the Junior Merchandiser level or as an Assistant Merchandiser looking to advance.
  • Experience in a fashion retail business with e-commerce, retail stores, and wholesale channels.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications, with knowledge of reporting tools being desirable.
  • A passion for retail and strong commercial acumen.
